RED sox all the way.. i expect the yankees to loose more to the angels angels are pretty tuff i didnt realize how stacked their lineup is..RedSox are goin all the way this year, and so arent the pats.. the celtics went from the worst team to possibly the best in the east,, we should win the east this year, i dk about the whole thing tho
if we did win it though
thats 3 teams witha ring same year.. never been done before
actually the yanks are 1.5 games out of thew wildcard, below my beloved mariners. The yanks have also had such and easy 2nd half for the most part....their first 20 some games after the all-star game they never played anyone better than .500
but they definately have turned it around....they better start lookin at the sox for the division, cuz the mariners arnt lettin them in no damn wild card.

yanks are six games back, the yanks are playing the Sox in a three game set soon. If the Sox sweep the Yanks (unlikely), the divsion is finished. but just an idea, probably won't happen.

i like it....we shall see...it will be a good run to the end, right now your back 2.5 games, but the mariners are down 8 runs right now in the 4th.....win tonight gainst the halo's and you will only be down 1.5
Lets go YANKEEEEEEES. Even if NYY don't come back and win the AL East, all they have to do is beat out the 2nd place team in the AL West for the Wild Card and they'll be in. They have a good record against BOS so far this season so a 1st round series is something I'd like to see.
Angels are very tough because they are so fast.If Chamberlain/Ramirez anchor the Yankee bullpen they should be able to get in the playoffs.Simple as this, when the sox play 3 in the bronx at the end of august that will tell us who's winning the al east.As for the wild card, yankees have a pretty easy schedule for sept. and the mariners have a pretty tough sept. schedule plus they play each other in NY for 3 games.

The a** winning percentage between opponents left is something like .497 for the yankees and .504 for the mariners.......maybe its me, but i dont see so much of a big difference there.
i'll even put up 2,000 vcash that the mariners end this season with a better record than the yankees.....any takers?
