smush parker is literally one of the worst defenders in the league so i have no idea where you got that. the other reason he was around was because he's a good finisher, has decent handles, and was the best scoring PG the lakers had (not to mention he was makin like 800k)

no flawless didn't it. remember when they was playing phoenix down by 3 he stold the ball from nash [ass it to kobe and as we all know kobe knocked it down with ease. easy.he is a good defender with nice ups, i could name alot of players who is worst than smush parker.

no you can't. i'm sorry man but that was probably the only contribution he made on defense in that entire series. he is a good finisher around the rim, and an offense threat at PG sometimes.

however, u just take 1 look at the stats its painfully obvious. when smush was out of the game the lakers gave up 5.2 less points per 100 possessions. Over the course of an entire game, that's 5 points. FIVE POINTS per game. And his back up was Jordan Farmar who isn't even a great defender yet he was 5 points per game better than Smush.

ya that's about right. he's about one of the 50 worst defenders in the nba. overall, probably the 3rd worst PG beyond Tyron Lue and another person not worth naming.

arroyo while bad, is twice the defender that smush parker is. i really dont want to get into the statistical reasons of it all, but this man truly cannot defend a PG to save his life.

he allowed his opponents 21.1 points per 48 minutes

arroyo allows 18.1 points per 48 minutes

smush is terrible. he really belongs on the and 1 tour or something not in the NBA, but if Miami wants to pick up more LAL garbage its fine with me.

actually dude is a pretty decent ball handler and can finish around the rim for a PG anyways. he's just not fit for purple n gold. dude couldn't guard anyone last year.

he made average PGs look spectacular and he made steve nash look like god
