Do the math my man, you're comparing a guy who's played 5 years to a guy who is in his veteran years at 12 years... if you compare apple to apples...Lebron is killing Kobe.

Wow is that how immature this debat as gotten, I just showed you how Lebron almost has decimated Kobe's numbers in his time, and has done that without the likes of guys like Shaq on his team etc.

You're trying to say that KOBE won those rings single handedly had nothing too do with the fact that Lakers had one of the most stacked teams in the NBA? You can't say a guys great cause he has x and x amount of rings so he's better then the guy without them, Dan Marino, as compared to a guy like Eli Manning for example..

Get out of here with that child like argument, stand up for what you're saying, Kobe is so much better then Lebron, so why if you compare 4 years in the nba to 4 years in the NBA does Lebron just destroy Kobe's #s?

and i hate how people say they only got rings cuz they had "Certain players" on their team... blah blah blah...

its about coaching, playing smart, playing together, and most importantly making CLUTCH shots...

Exactly, it had about 30% to do with Kobe, so when you look at the Numbers and the fact that Lebron has literally murdered Kobe's in the first 4-5 years vs his first 4-5 years, Rings play no role in who's better.

Some of the greatest ATHLETES in history haven't gotten a ring.

in my opinion its more entertaining watching KOBE play...
he plays with finesse, power and speed...

scoring 81 pts is just amazing... kobe has done a lot of things single handedly...
if shaq didnt have kobe with him in the lakers they would not have won...

it was a team effort...
just how wade won a championship with shaq... he couldnt have done it without him... and neither could have shaq...

shaq is with the suns now and he couldnt get the job done cuz they didnt have a strong Guard like kobe or wade...

I'm talking about you're comparing a guy with 12 years experience in the NBA to a guy with only 4, they have the word Veteran as a title in sports for a reason dude, Kobe is in his prime or coming off of it...of course he's in a better position then Lebron and doing more...

You have to compare realistic numbers, and the point is, YOU CANT compare Lebron to Kobe just like you can't compare Kobe too Larry Bird, different times, different places, you have to compare people straight up.

LT doesn't compare, too McFadden etc....

Lebron is as good or will be as good or better then KObe by the time his carreer is done, he's already almost doubling it as it is.

Shaq has been a huge part of teams succuess, and I dissagree with that's why he couldn't do it with the Suns, if you took Shaq in his prime and put him on that Suns roster, they would have done at least 2x better.

Lebron has single handedly turned that Cleveland franchise around.

You guys don't even realize i'm not even a Lebron fan at atll.

kobe has almost surpassed the GOAT himself AKA Jordan...

when kobe gets 3 rings in the next 4 yrs... everyones gonna be wearing Kobe shorts, kobe shoes, kobe shirts...

I think Jordan will always be Jordan, it's crazy how long he's had an impact on the NBA.

I'm not a fan of Kobe or Lebron man, i'm a Nuggest fan, and we suck...I just try to keep things realistic, I hate people who start threads because a guy has a few bad games, easpecially a guy like James.

yeah everyone has bad games... but sometimes you are just getting outplayed by a better team... lebron cant do it by himself... he needs a big man that can score - that has post skills and can block shots and rebound every game...

im sure he could win a championship with shaq on his team...

you can argue for days and still disagree about whos better or not...

nowadays when people say basketball - most people think Jordan,Kobe or Lebron...

I agree, Lebron just tries too make WAY to many plays, he needs to just be scoring 25-30 points a game and let his team do the rest, unfortunatly most of his team is not that good...so he literally tries to carry the weight.

the difference between lebron and kobe is lebron came into the league with a mans body.. kobe has improved his game sooo much over the years while since lebron's second year not so much... i think lebron has leveled out. still a great player though

That may be true Duke, but his #'s increasingly get better honestly...you're right about Lebron is already at his full size and atheltic ability, however his vision and what not can only get better...

I see him retiring with better #'s personally.
