Who will be the biggest surprise in the NFL in 2008?
I'm a little confused by how this poll is going. As of right now the Cleveland Browns are in first ... Can someone that voted for Cleveland describe the type of season that they expect Cleveland to have that would be surprising?

NFC East is gonna be ridiculously tough. 3 SB caliber teams in one division. And the final team aint half bad and made the playoffs last year and just had a great draft.

want be a surprise to many in buffalo but i gotta go with the bills. they went 8-8 last year and was in nearly every game. the impressive thing was how they had like 17 something players on IR and numerous injuries week in and out.
they added another threat opposite evans in James Hardy which now frees up Parish or Price to play the slot where they are best suited. they get marshawn lynch in his 2nd year. they have the o line in place. they have one of the top 10 d lines and o lines in football, an up and coming LB corps anchored by Crowell. along with 3 talented players at CB and another 3 at safety. Not to mention Witner can play corner too.

the Bills will be good in 08.
yeah Bills should be tough. The AFC East is gonna be super nasty now, the Jets also are lookin real tough.

but yea I can see why the Browns are a trendy pick...
Their offense was nasty last year, they suddenly have one of the best OL in the league, Steinbach and Joe Thomas is a mean left side. Derek Anderson broke through and they also have Quinn. Winslow and Edwards is arguably the best WR-TE combo in the league, Jamal Lewis had a major re-emergence last year running behind that line, they added Stallworth to bring even more explosiveness to their offense and another deep ball threat and still have Jerevicious a good veteran possesion receiver.
On D, the front 7 is finally coming together. They got Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers and suddenly that DL is lookin damn good both guys are good fits for the 3-4. They have the essential rush LB for the 3-4 with Wimbley, and a solid group of LBs to fill in with DQuell Jackson, Andre Davis, McGinest, Leon Williams and Antwan Peek. They got a good young safety duo with Sean Jones who is a real up and comer who is already playing at a near pro bowl level and Brodney Poole is pretty good, a good cover FS. Theres some questions with them at CB after trading Bodden, but Eric Wright I think is gonna be damn good and Baxter is trying to make a return...And in the schemes Crennel runs CB is not the most essential position. With a defensive coach like Crennel this D should be pretty solid and they have one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.
The AFC North is gonna be another brutal division. Pittsburgh loaded up in the draft and theyre always tough, the Ravens may finally have a QB and are just always tough just because of their D. And their O cant possibly be as bad as it was last year, it can only get a lot better. And theres no reason to expect their D to get worse. And with the Bengals you never know. If Chad reports, Carson has a good year and Marvin can finally get his D together, they could be a contender.

yeah they got way too many problems....I just dont see any potential for a winning season with the Falcons. Rookie QB, horrible OL, unproven running back, not much for receivers, a lot of defensive issues, rookie coach. I just cant see it. They are in complete rebuild mode.
