And Freeney was good against the run? He took the outside rush every time. LOL @ this guy.
I knew that. But the point is, Freeney is way better against the run than Rice. I live in Tampa and support the bucs, I've seen Rice first hand get ran all over the his whole career. Yes, Freeney is primarily a pass rusher, but he's better than Rice. Stop being the devil's advocate.

Rice is only going to be in passing situations. Judging by Dungy's defensive mind, he knows what he is doing more then anyone on these boards. So he will be in when the situation he thrives most is in his face, and on top of that, well rested and ready to go.

lol @ this dude doesnt even know about his own team Freeney was one of the most underrated run defenders in the league. Yeah he took the outside rush a lot but that because thats the scheme he plays in and that his primary job rush the passer, thats how the Colts play D thats what hes supposed to do but hes great at disengaging and making plays in the run game and when the situation calls for it he can be extremely stout against the run...Its funny how you take shots at some of the Colts' best players, saying things like Freeney doesnt play the run and Marvin cant beat double coverage, which are both just so false its not even funny, especially the one about Marvin, but you cant admit that Peyton has even a single minor fault in his game.

First of all, Freeney was never great against the run, along with Mathis. If anything, Bob Sanders was there best run defender and I stated I think he is the best safety in the league. However, I do think that Freeney is the best pass rusher in the league. He is held constantly and gets more penetration then anyone around the outside. Marvin hasn't beaten double coverage deep very often. By that, I mean Cover 2 man with 2 safetys over the top. It's almost impossible to beat deep unless you have Randy Moss, and he doesn't burn them deep, he leaps over both of them with his feet at their heads. And that was my point, you can play 2 deep against the Pats and still get beat deep, but Indy doesn't have a 6'4" freak who scares the sh*t outta me with the catches he makes. Your assumptions are TERRIBLE.

Thank you. I have watched every Colts game played in the passed few years, and Freeney does not play the run well. I hate when people just look at his name and thinks he plays every aspect of the game well. Someone like Whats ReallyGood.........
