I will save you from all the technical jargon unless you really want to hear it but to answer your question when doing interval training it's very important to keep moving even if it is a slow walk.

I have no clue. I haven't maxed out in 2 years because of two major back surgeries and I'm not about to find out. If you understood Anatomy you would realize that when someone tests out their maximum bench it shows very little with how strong an individual really is regardless of how much weight he can lift. It doesn’t paint the whole picture. I am more impressed with how many wide grip pull-ups you can do rather then how much weight you can push away from your chest.
Take the average guy in the gym that can max out on the bench press at 225lbs now take him over to the pull-up bar and see how many wide grip pull-ups he can do and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. For the record I prefer doing push-ups on a physio ball over bench pressing.

ha ya the workouts i do with my football team now im getting bigger and more cut and same time but weightlifting team starts soon so hopin to get much stronger

ya but its still a bull**** remark tho if u can max alot more than a little skinny guy doin 100 pullups then u stronger then him its just alot harder for u to do em then the skinny guy
