I've been working around here to get a tournament together (probably small local one only for people in or close to Arkansas right now) and started thinking of new ideas to spice tournaments up and here is one I would love to see at a major tournament this year:
Throwback Madden Division (example of what I want to do):
i could see that workin out i kno i wouldnt go cause i never touched that game but i could see some old heads comin out...Shutdown check ur PM's
I wouldn't expect people to go out and play the game as much as the current Madden or anything. Most people that played 05 seriously, will remember the majority of the glitches, nanos, etc. it would just be fun to see who still has it. I jumped on 05 for the first time the other day and I could still do a lot of things except I couldn't RC as well anymore but it got me thinking.
Or even if the Old Madden game was announced before the tournament, it's like $5 maybe to get a used Madden 03-05 on ps2 so you could grab a copy and practice some if you really wanted to
I had a guy a couple months back want me for money on that but I gave him my number and never got the phone call. I played it the a few nights ago and last night again and I'm still real nice on there.

I had more important things than a Madden tournament to do that weekend. I might come to one soon but I'm trying to enjoy the rest of my senior year especially since next year I'll either be in St Louis or 2 1/2 hours closer than I am now.
I am leaning towards UA already but why is UMSL wack? I visited there and I loved the dorms. If I have to go to college I would want to stay in those dorms. That's a huge reason I've considered it.
Yeah, I've heard those new dorms are pretty nice, but are you planning to live in the dorms all four years? Most people only live in the dorms for one year then they get their own apartment off campus b/c the dorm rules are pretty wack.
I guess it also depends on what type of person you are. If you don't want to go to a big school then I guess you should go to UMSL. I was born and raised in St. Louis, but I UMSL was never in my plans because I wanted to go to a big school with mostly traditional students. I don't know if they still do, but a few years ago UMSL used to pride themselves for having tons of "non-traditional" students (meaning older people who put off college for a while and now are trying to get back into it.)
I don't know, I could be wrong, but I just didn't get that real college feel from UMSL for some reason. I don't think it would be a bad school to go to for grad school though. I just don't think it would be fun for undergrad. Like I've never heard any of my friends say, "Let's go kick it at this UMSL bar/party," but I did hear, "Let's go to this SLU bar," a lot.
But if you like it and they have the program you want to major in, that's the most important thing. I'm just giving you my opinion.
