is it just me, or does Romo not throw the strafe catch as good as other QBs with higher THP do? i can do it with a lot of different QBs including Derek Anderson, but Romo throws it a little to far, looks like a lack of THP because its more of a lob. i can still get it with him to T.O., but not as consistent.

yeah romos throw accuracy kind of throws the rocket catch off a little. its still possible to do though.

yeah i thought something was wrong, i heard people were doing it successfully at the players bowl though. anyway to fix it?

EDIT: and yeah Kayzle, i agree Romo is a great madden QB, just doesn't throw the rocket good enough.

The problem isn't Romo it's his WR core.

Whitten can spec but he's slow.
TO isn't very tall and doesn't have breakaway speed.
Stanback, Hurd, Clayton, Glenn are all meh and relatively difficult to spec/rc with.

The Cowboys need a Vincent Jackson or something comparable. We'll see how 09 plays.

T.O. has 95 speed and he's 6'3"......Braylon is 93 speed and he's 6'3" and i do it perfect with Braylon but not even close to as good with T.O.

you can do that with almost everyone on Dallas.....but thats the only spec catch animation your getting with Witten, you cant jetpack with him

i have problems using Romo, and the jags qb. Idk why but they have nice stats i just seem to throw ****ty throws with em but when i use ravens, eagles, or steelers i have no problems and thats crazy cuz mcnair is like 85thp and like 80 accuracy lol.

Best rocket catch on the game is Hasslebeck to Hackett. Well maybe not the best but damn good.

True. But I still have no prob rc'ing with Whitten or TO. Except that TO seems to drop more (which would be accurate i guess) but that's still not a Romo problem.
