Yes you can, but don't get it twisted i can still rocket with romo all day it's just a little harder to do it with outside wr's bc he is so accurate

Best rocket catch on the game is Hasslebeck to Hackett. Well maybe not the best but damn good.

I dont rocket catch much though.

Hurd is 6'1

and has decent jupm but nothing great

witten doesn't spec catch...so many wr's can do the 1 handed catch...if they don't do the big jump which witten doesn't...then they aren't considered a spec. catch wr/te/cb etc...

I had this problem too when I was labbing with dallas. I found a quick fix though. Romo doesnt put as much velocity on the ball as other QB's do and because of that the ball doesnt get to the receiver as quickly. What you should do to fix this is time the catch differently. If you wait to click on just a split second later, I think that you will find he completes more passes.

yes the problem is his lack of thp.. he doesnt throw a bullet like brady or a qb like that does so it makes the rc timing different.

the thing is i dont do the whole click on at last second BS, if you play online the timing is different, and you dont wanna F up and throw a pick in a $ game. i click on from the start and do the whole **** manually

Right... I play online too. You just have to get used to it. I didnt necessarily mean wait till the last second but rather just later then other receivers. The timing is different with every receiver and QB based purely on speed and THP. After you get how to adjust with QBS and receivrs you can adapt quickly...

otherwise, just strafe catch and not rocket it.

i dont use the boys that much but when i do my RC to Owens and Austin are always money i have no probs with romo

Rocket and strafe arent necessarily the samething. You use the same button combo but what makes the difference is the animation they get. To rocket catch, you use the pass lead to get you receiver into position to do a straight up leap. For strafing you throw it with no pass lead and manually control the receiver into positon to do more of a hop where they look up and bend their knees but dont really jump...

Rocket and Strafe are the same....don't be dumb...i feel like the people who use the words "strafe catch" wern't around in 05...when it was just called Rocket Catch...pass leading has nothing to do with whether its called strafe or rocket...thats the dumbest thing I've heard in a while..

I dont have any problems with it either I think its that all qbs thow it differently and the pass lead and ideal distance down field needs to be a little different depending on the qb and wr.

ps hasselback to hacket best really? what about tom brady and randy moss?
