i found one a LOT better then spectacular catch.....well i always knew it but didnt know it was that good until i labbed it. everyone has seen this before. its the sharp jumping animation when he jumps up and crunches his body (no homo) and snatches the ball out of the air, pretty quick animation. this animation is sick and your legs don't get cut out, and i was catching this in double coverage with ease. anyone following me here? if not i'll try and find a vid on youtube of the animation. if you guys follow me and are curious ill edit my post on how to do it. i know you guys love to rocket catch but the situation comes up a lot where you have to rush your throw and sometimes when you try to precision the strafe catch while under pressure it's an easy pick.

edit: i remember people talking about this animation in the start of the year but the spec. catch was so hype that nobody gave a **** about anything else on the game lol.

I know exactly what your talking about and yes that catch is really hard to defend.

You almost have to cut the ball off on d even more then the WR does

yeah it's crazy......nice someone understood lol i know my explanation is horrible but its hard to explain.

I know what your talking about, but it happens periodically its a quick snatch and grab catch thats what i call it. But it kinda happens when u try to rocket too late, u cant get that animation everytime, it happens every so often.

actually....i call it the cut n drop...cuz if u do a fade and reg bullet it and cut inside real hard he jumps up and snatches it out of the air then goes down cradling the ball...iv fone this numerous times its very easy to do if u get the timing down...its garbage vs bump n run with fades cuz u simply rc on d to pick it off....but yea its a nice user catch that is more effective in the slot....

and the no homo thing....cmon now its gettn wayyyyyyyyyyy overused....soon some1 gnna say 'hey madden 09 is cool! (no homo)'

nah i think he's talking about that aggressive catch that i been doin all year. What i usually do with Stallworth.
