Did anyone else have to download a xbox live update today when you signed on?

i did and now every game i play i get disconnected from.

i just did it..got disconnected form live....then played a Play now gm of madden

then My xbox got the RED RINGS !!!!!!!!!!!

It DC'd me and the dude I was just playing... I hope this isn't gonna become a problem...

but with me it didn't ask for an update til I played madden

so is this the patch or what?

yeah i didnt think about that patch. halo was running nice and smooth for me and i didnt get d/c so it has to be a madden problem.

all u got to do is go to your weapon settings you ahve to turn some of them ona nd leave osme fo them off this was my problem. I d/ced 12 gms in a row tehn I reealized it and didnt d/ce until my box crashed

Ya turn ya weapons on fellas lol!! I dont remember if u guys remember me making a topic about getting disc's in a row and all that time it was my dam weapons off lol!!! I even called EA and thoes dummys didnt even ask if they were on or off what a bunch of dummies lol.

i keep my weapons off.. it always d/c when i have them on
