how do you stop the DEs from getting around my linemen when they put there DEs in black to stop vick?

Play action works sometimes...but the point of putting them in "black" is to to contain mobile QBs such as Vick, so im not sure u can stop it persay......

as far as I know the only way to stop them is to stay in the pocket. If you notice them standing there just don't move, but then you have to make sure nobody else is coming at you. Like Duval said playaction is a good way to kill that contain or another thing I do is run up to your lineman and the DE will follow you, once you get close enough to the edge of the pocket the DE will start to chase and your line SHOULD pick him up

You can stop it by staying in the pocket, the whole point is to catch vick outside of the pocket. If you stay in your o-line may contain that.

no offense, but personally i think this is a dumb post. (im kind of making an assumption but im not flaming your game) i would never want to try and beat that. i mean, that would give you a TON of time in the pocket because that would bring a two man rush, in which you could just sit back and wait for the open guy, or they would have to bring lbs or corners just to make a 4 or 5 man rush, and their coverage should be full of holes.

all you would have to do is make a good read and you should be fine.

if the only way you can put points on the scoreboard is make plays only on vicks feet by scrambling out and sometimes running for yardage, than i think you need to get better at pocket passing.

KTS - personally, i think the man would like to roll out a little bit, because sometimes on corner routes with vick you can get much more direct angles to throw with and have a better chance of completing the pass.

all you have to do to stop this is to roll out a little bit and come back in, but be quick on the sticks.
once you roll out slightly, they will suction into the o-lineman because they will be on pursuit already. once they are being blocked, just zoom right past them.
if they dont suction to the o-line immediately, try weaving a few times to get it down and see what works the quickest.
you might also need a TE or RB to block out there for you to get this to work to its full potential.

Thats my point, thats too much work for the execution of one play. Plus if your playin someone like The Carolina Panthers Blaze willl get Blazed because there DE's in Contain is ridiculous. He needs to work on pocket passing because all someone would have to do is play contain and send a LB up the gut. Where will he go then?

I normall move my RB over and hike when he is in possition...he usually cut blocks the DE
