when thp and tha are almost equal (Russell and Culpepper), then awareness is most important is my point. you're comparing almost equal awareness (Jeff and Ben) but i'm not. i'm comparing thp and tha first, then awareness afterwards. the difference is the awareness makes the throws more consistent. his vision cone is the same size but Culpepper makes the throws and Russell misses them.
lol no u didnt say that .. cause no fool will say awareness dont matter ..if a qb has awr in the the 50's he wont be able to hit the side of a barn ... u said awr is the most important thing for a qb.. which it deff is not..
I still say THA means nothing in this game. Most important is THP and AWR.
In Madden 07' have you ever tried throwing with Vick and Vince as a rookie? Vince had more THA but crappy AWR, and Vick was the opposite, but Vick could make more throws than Vince.

i thought i made it clear from my first post that i know Russell and Culpepper have almost equal thp and tha but Culpepper is the one making the throws. i said it has to be because of his awareness.
and i questioned whether or not awareness is the most important factor which is why i titled this thread with a question mark.

ight I read ur 1st post over again but u threw us off with ur second post cus it seemed like u though it was the most important rating for a QB............But i mean if AWR & THA were equal in like the 80's & THP was in the 50's or if AWR & THP were equal in 80's & THA was in 50's......u still would make bad/worse throws......im just sayin when 1 of those rating are down dramatically then of course u gonna see a difference
my whole thing was i wanted to use Russell because he has more thp and more tha.........too bad he misses throws and Culpepper makes them. i wanted to know if others had the same problems with QB's that had similar thp and tha but way different awareness?
i always thought tha determined if the qb missed throws but apparently his awareness does too. also, the play action doesn't work as well with qb's that have low awareness.
damon Huard in '07 had like 93 THP and 87 ACC with like 60 AWR and threw worse then 79 ACC Vick. Testaverde has 84 ACC and 90 AWR and throws better then Garrard with about 92 ACC and 79 AWR.
awr > acc

if i have 50 awarness on a 99 thp the qb isnt going to throw the deep ball right and it will be sloppy no where near the wr awr is the most importnant thing hands down
Play with the Raiders, start off with Russell, then use Culpepper. There's no way you will believe your previous statement after you do that. Russell throws the ball all over the place when you're trying to direct where your pass goes by using the precision passing feature. Culpepper throws terrible passes sometimes, but nowhere near as frequently as Russell.
Okay then go offline and put you accuracy at 0 and your awrness at 99 and his vision cone will look like bradys but he will throw like a punter
Okay, but that's not what the threadstarter was talking about. He was wondering why a quarterback with higher THP and THA (Russell) is less effective than a quarterback with lower THP and THA, but higher AWR (Culpepper).
You said in your previous post that awareness is the size of the vision cone and accuracy controls where the QB places the ball. That's partially true, but how do you explain how a QB with lower THP and THA, but higher AWR throws the ball better than a quarterback that has higher THP and THA?
Awareness is important to how accurate your QB throws the ball.
