360 annoying deep zones

anyone know how to beat annoying deep zones like cover 4 with consistency? it's hard to rocket catch against them because of purple zones which slows them down alot. great coverage deep and over the middle, weakness flats but i've noticed this isn't CG, the purple zone defender just runs in and makes the tackle. i have tried all route combinations with deep posts, streaks, and fades, have the lab and everything. i have tried route combos out of SG Tight, Trio, Trips TE, etc. and screen is not really what im looking for. if yall know the secret, lemme know, thanks

Re: annoying deep zones

as always the case with zones... OVERLOAD one side of the field

and u can always just throw a WR screen for an easy 20 yard gain

Re: annoying deep zones

like thaboyz said throw screens in there if they are putting everyone in zone coverage screens will kill that. They are obviously gonna be playing the same d if they see your not beating it but if you throw some screens in there they will be forced to put some of the people in zones to man and that should open up other routes if they are expecting screens. Also blue routes to ur te are money because they have to manually guard that.

Re: annoying deep zones

yeah ive been tryin out screens and they seem to work better.....overloading sides of the field dont seem to be as effective as they were in years past like 05 and 06.

Re: annoying deep zones

try jetpackin on a streak since in cover 4 the safety is more far away from the outside wrs os u kinda get a 1 on 1 matchup with the cb and throw it a lil over 30 yards to get away from the purple zones....i get the catch 50% of the time since we all know spec catches arent guaranbteed catches

Re: annoying deep zones

You hit HB, and WR Screens on both sides of the field, you can also do some pitching with your HB for a good 5-6 yards, do this 6x in a row get those easy first downs, he'll start getting frustrated and blitzing someone.

Blue routes can be very effective as well.

Then you aren't using the right route combinations. Overloads still murder zone coverage as do screens. One of my favorite plays vs. cover 4 is Shotty Normal FL Screen. Have your best spec catch wr running the post route and your fastest wr running the screen. Motion the wr running the deep post to the opposite side of the field and hike just before he sets. Now you have a screen and a deep post on the same side of the field. The screen kills zone and the deep post, as everyone knows, is an easy route to get a jetpack/rocket/one-handed catch off of. If I'm not worried about the blitz then I might send my TE on a streak as well.

Sounds like would kill bums.

But like everyone else said, try screens or sometimes a Streak and a post, then you vision cone the post and threw deep to outside. If the safety is the computer he will get sucked in
