User determined formation audibles
2K had these and it worked great. A player could go to every formation in their playbook and set in formation specific audibles. After a play you could select a no-huddle mode that would let you pick the desired formation and then the play. Madden is moving in the right direction, but taking a while to get there. I hate being a slave to the pre-assigned formation audible plays. We should get formation shifting back too (and set our own shifts).

Re: User determined formation audibles
no, these "quick" audibles let you come out in a formation with new, unpredictable audibles every play.
You could still audible down or up, as you go to the package, find a play, highlight it or whatever, go to different package and hit the audible at the line. Best of both worlds, I thought i was the only one who remembered that. |

Re: User determined formation audibles
Anyone who plays NFL 2K5 with updated rosters and tries to say its superior to Madden is smoking the finest crack money can buy. With that said, 2K did do some things that madden still needs to include, and this seems like one of them. It would be AMAZING to have whatever formation audibles you wanted. This would greatly improve your defensive options against a no-huddle offense.
