Alpha Kappa Alpha? I know you're into fashion, but you're gonna try to join a sorority?. Does the pink and green do it for you?

joining a frat was the best decision I have made in college thus far...do it

however, dont take this the wrong way cuz it is by no means meant to be a racist comment... but I would look into fraternities that arent strickly for african-americans, not they are any worse/better, but in my experience, the strictly black fraternities dont really do anything. Joining a more traditionally common fraternity allows you to be involved a ton of different things and groups on campus and meet more people than you can imagine. Plus the insanely good looking girls join what I refer to as a more traditional sorority than the NPHC ones.

You are just wrong about that my friend. Maybe the members of the NPHC at your particular school dont do to much but to generalize and talk down on the entire NPHC is just wrong my friend. All the frats and sororities apart of the NPHC here at the Ohio State University do tons to give back to the community and are great networking tools. Dont make opinions about something you dont know a thing about.

well obviously he thought he does know about it ........ and his whole point to his post was to try and help him, so he definitely wasn't just speaking out his rear when he was talking about it .... cuz theres no motive to do that when your just helping sum1 ...

But to tell someone not to even look at group of fraternities is just wrong. Thats not helping. Let him formulate his own opinions about what organization he would like to join.

lmao...I never once said that NPHC fraternities were bad or down talked them...I never once told him to not look at NPHC fraternites...I said he should check out some more common fraternities...aka ones that are recognized by IFC(Interfraternity Counsel) He wants to do the NPHC thing...cool...i was merely suggesting checking out other options...next time read before posting an ignorant response, which, by the sound of it, sounds like your are A) not in a fraternity or B) completely ignorant

yea man...wut ever your final choice ends up being, its gonna be a good one...fraternity is one of the best things you can do while in college...if you end up joining one, you'll figure out wut i mean

Its sucks though cause most of the frats I've looked at you have to be a second semester freshman or second year student. Whatever though. Ill wait, cause whatever frat gets me gone have the coolest freshman alive lol

I by no means wut so ever hate NPHC...im just saying, it would be more beneficial in my experience to check out IFC fraternities...and if you think they are equally involved and wut not...then you must not know much about fraternities outside of your school...and I still refuse to believe that the NPHC ones are as involved and do as much stuff as other IFC chapters nationally, because I know they arent.. I know this because im one of 20 people on the IFC board which governs and oversees all things greek releated...there are only 20 people on it out of 30,000 people that attend KU...about 10,000 of those people being greek...in fact on going to be one of the 6 VP's here when turnover happens...and you know wut? not one person on there is NPHC...not one representative from their houses ever show up for meetings even though they are supposed too...and this is a reoccurring trend nationally too because i've been to the national convention that took place in Chicago last year...and just for clearing things up...which fraternity are you in?

really? thats weird...usually you rush 1st semester...unless this is an NPHC thing and they are different than IFC...cuz im only familiar with with IFC rules
