I've recently been trying to lab the rocket catch. Everytime I attempt it, the animation starts but it's like the receiver doesn't jump, he just crouches down. Once in a while he will jump though, but not as often as I like. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Oh, and what routes are the best to rocket catch.

Do I do it as soon as I throw the pass, or wait until a certain time?

When the ball is in the vicinity of the wr click on and wrap around

Once the ball is thrown and it's about halfway through the air, switch over to your receiver and try to place him a few steps in front of the circle that shows where the ball is going to land and then push the buttons.

lol everyone sayin the same thing... just make sure ur not use turbo

and sometimes its the qb and a how taller and good the receiver is

practice with brady and moss and make moss run post to the near sidelines or steak

soon as u pass it ... switch to moss and and circle around in front or in where the ball

suppose to drop..

If your receiver is crouching and not going up for the ball then you need to hold the catch button in longer. If you hold it in longer your receiver will finish the animation.

just run a streak and pass lead down click on and run down holding triangle.....hold triangle im guessing since youre on the 3

I just got a new E-Book, and I've been able to rocket catch a lot of the corner, post and streak routes. Thanks

i always use turbo and i do it fine.....

Everytime I try it the dbs break underneath me more times than i can turn around and catch it, what am i doing wrong am i throwing to deep

it aint that complicated dude ... just try different things and you should get it if you have stick skills at all ....

I've been doing it all year and really didn't notice it until people were bitching.I was doing it alot with Burleson and the Hawks but now I've been using the Cowboys alot and T.O. is really deadly at it.

RC is overrated... It's not hard to do at all. I do mines, No Pass Lead, Click On Later than usual, Do a 180 turn, then tap Y when the ball is coming close. It says Aggressive Catch instead of Possession Catch.
