I would go if i lived near, you got an amazing tourney planned with better value than any other tournament wit 40 bucks, but I live on the West Coast, so sorry. How did u manage to get the owner of the sports bar to let u host the tourney there? Did u rent out the whole place out or is the bar gonna hav customers? And how many people play at once? Sry, i want to try to get a annual tourney on da west coast. That is wer my xuriosity comes from

I came to the decision where the food part is mandatory. So he makes some money on people no matter what. Then the house will take less than 10% out of the prize pool, giving him a small bonus. So he takes that with the mandatory food sales and actually still pulls a nice profit. The gamers get the food and a nice place to play, and if we reach 50 buy ins, then first place would take home 600 bucks.

We expect about 30 people out, but could be closer to 40. With only 10 buy backs, we reach that 50 mark easily.

As I recall they offer them a number of times per-year, not sure of your situation as to whether or not you'd be able to take them a different day, but it's potentially an option.
